Social Skills

Duration:

One day (in a single session or spread over a number of sessions).

Training Outcomes:

• Help participants consider that the development of children and young people should not be exclusively academic.
• Focus on the development of the social interaction skills of children and young people.
• Understand social skills should aid and assist in the completion of an academic skill.
• Understand social skills should be taught and that children and young people should be motivated to use them to help complete a cooperative task.
• Explore the benefits and rationale of focusing on teaching social skills.

Who Should Attend:

This is a one day workshop for those who have already attended the Cooperative Learning Academy and the Recall session.
